The Black Media Collective is a non-profit 501c3 organization made up of a group of Dynamic Media Professionals. We represent careers in Broadcast, Advertising, Marketing, Digital, Business Owners and Organizations who believe in the power of networking to empower, promote and advance the careers of our existing members and to plant seeds for the future growth of Black Professionals within our community.
Our organization acts as an anchor and a dedicated resource to host seminars to increase the professional capacity and leadership capabilities of our members. We provide college scholarships to foster students, and support members who are pursuing education and leadership/career advancement.
We believe that in joining hands, through knowledge sharing, mentor-ships, scholarships and job opportunities, The Black Media Collective is pursuing advancements to become a national platform that will empower the voices and faces of current and future Black Professionals and Executives.

Jamie Young-Eke is an accomplished Executive and Media Sales Leader with vast experience driving sales & revenue by formulating strategies that effectively develop creative solutions to deliver results. She currently works for Audacy Communications and holds the position of Senior Account Executive. Her background includes strategic planning, project management and relationship building aiming to increase revenue and brand awareness for a diverse range of multi-million dollar clientele.Her passion for mentoring, giving back and desire for racial equity was her motivation to form “The Black Media Collective” with a mission to collaborate with corporate partners in order to create a pathway of entry and growth for Black Professionals within the Media Industry.

Debra M. Hughes is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 25 years of financial, statement audit, operational audit and accounting/finance experience. Debra received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics, with a minor in Accounting from Spelman College and her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Southern New Hampshire University. Debra began her career in public accounting with a local CPA firm and has worked with a Regional and National Accounting Firm; serving as an Audit Manager and Senior Consultant. She has also worked with several Fortune 500 Companies; serving as an Internal Audit Manager and Senior Consultant. In 2010, Debra established her accounting practice and provided accounting services, audits and tax planning and. In 2019, Debra re-joined Corporate America and serves as an Internal Audit Project Manager. Debra has served as Treasurer, Finance Committee and Internal Audit Committee Chairs in other non-profit Boards: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. for several Delta Chapters, National Black MBA Association for the Los Angeles Chapter and National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. for the Boston and Los Angeles Chapters. Debra loves sports, music, playing cards (bid whist) and international travel.

Lisa Wright brings over 30 years' experience in the advertising and marketing industry, starting her career at Chiat Day, one of the most disruptive agencies in the country.
She rapidly expanded her advertising career at Hal Riney & Partners, Deutsch Advertising and Ketchum Advertising before realizing her true commitment to multicultural advertising. At Muse Cordero Chen and Walton Isaacson, Lisa lead multicultural marketing efforts for American Honda, Miller Brewing Company, Nike, Lexus and more. Never satisfied with learning only one aspect of the business, Lisa moved over to the client side, working for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Starbucks Coffee Company, where she served as the national marketing officer for all of the Magic Johnson stores in over 20 markets across the country. This led to working for Magic Johnson Enterprises exclusively. Always eager to learn, Lisa eventually moved to the sales side and when the world went digital, she did too.
Lisa is currently Brand Manager at KBLA1580, making history with the market's first Black-owned talk format radio and media destination. Lisa enjoys traveling and spending time blending her original family with the biological family she found through DNA, including her mom, former actress Lynne Moody, her father, four sisters and tons of new nieces and nephews.
Lisa is an avid Lakers and Dodgers fan. Lisa has one son, Nic and a dog named Daddy. Don't ask.
Shindana Neal is currently the General Sales Manager for Audacy in Los Angeles CA. She is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and began her career in strategic account development, sales, and marketing by spearheading tactical advertising and business development for local/national stations including CBS, Viacom, Katz Media, Liberty Media, and BET.
Shindana has overcome diverse challenges throughout her 20+ year career and is proficient in integrated multi platform sales. She has a passion for motivating and assisting those close to her to help them achieve their career aspirations in business, education, and personal growth.

Debbie Soden, after 30 years in the Los Angeles Radio and Television Advertising Sales community, in both sales and sales management, she transitioned to her current 16 year career in real estate with Coldwell Banker Realty in Westlake Village.
Debbie was one of the founding members of the Black Media Network in the late 1980's.
